Tom and Lori have achieved the level of "Master of Sport" presented by USA Gymnastics to coaches that have demonstrated their ability to train and produce an athlete that has represented the United States of America in the highest level of competition in a Pan American, World Championship, and/or Olympic Games. Their experience has been the foundation for all of the training their instructors receive to work with children. From a forward roll to the most difficult skills our instructors have two primary goals: teach it correctly and make it fun!
Tom and Lori qualified their first gymnast on to the Women's USA National Team in 1990. They went on to put seven girls on the national team and compete for the United States in 11 international competitions including three World Championships ('95, '96, '01) and two Pan American Games ('95, '01). In 1996 they had two gymnasts compete in the Olympic Trials, Theresa Kulikowski and Kristy Powell. Theresa became the 1996 Olympic first alternate! Today Aerials Gymnastics is widely considered to be among the best gymnastics programs in America.

Ninja/Parkour is a new sport that embodies discipline, focused energy, strength, speed, courage and skill. It's fun and it improves physical fitness and athleticism for anyone that participates. We love this sport for these reasons - it is an outstanding physical activity with no limits as to what children can accomplish. Our Ninja/Parkour classes are taught in a specific sequence where children must learn the basics before learning more difficult skills. Our classes are divided in to Level 1 (Green), Level 2 (Orange) and Level 3 (Red). Your child will wear the wrist band of their level. Each color signifies what skills they are safe to perform in class and in our open gym time.
Ninja/Parkour Junior - children learn flips, rolls, jumps, and kicks in combination on strength and agility courses. This is a new sport that allows kids of all sizes and abilities to have fun exercising and being challenged physically.
Our progressive level system evalutates and advances children on their ability to perform the fundamental parkour skills correctly before being allowed to practice more difficult skills.

Aerials has a well-earned reputation for winning, but we didn’t earn it with the attitude that we will do anything to win. Our success comes from our method: we work hard and we have fun. Our program is one of the country’s leaders when it comes to teaching through a series of skill progression in a positive environment. We never encourage our gymnasts to attempt a new skill until her coach has the utmost confidence that she has mastered all the progressive steps leading up to it. The process can sometimes be time-consuming but the end result is well worth the method and it is the key to our enduring success.
We adhere to and enforce the US Center for Safe Sport policies and procedures in every program within Aerials. This means that our coaches are never allowed one-on-one time with any gymnast in our program. All interactions between every gymnast and their coach is done as a group or with parental involvement.
We take great pride in our coaching staff at Aerials Gymnastics. Our coaches are Professional Members of USA Gymnastics and continually receive educateoion on the most current techniques by owners Tom and Lori Forster. Tom and Lori have achieved "Master of Sport", the highest level of coaching gymnastics. Tom has also been a Women's National Team Staff member for USA Gymnastics since 2008, and was the Women's National Team Coordinator from 2018 to 2021 where he lead the national team in multiple World Championships and the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.

We teach advanced gymnastic skills in the proper progressions for safety and mastery. We do not move on with a skill if a gymnast cannot safely master all the steps in the progression. If a gymnast struggles with a skill she has already learned we go back to the progressions and start over. It is time consuming, it can be frustrating, and it is more difficult but this is the core of our success and the safest way to advance.
All of our coaches are Professional Members of USA Gymnastics which means they have been back ground checked and passed the USA Safety Certification Test for gymnastics coaches. They are led by owner and USA Gymnastics National Staff Member Tom Forster. Tom has over thirty years of coaching experience and is in charge of training the coaches and keeping them informed of all the newest technqiues and procedures for coaching competitive gymnasts.
